MELTDOWN BURGERs LAUNCHES CONTROVERSIAL NEW CAMAPIGN
President Donald Trump offered praise Monday for Meltdown Burgers amid backlash over a yellow denim ad campaign featuring a cool dude in a yellow bucket hat and yellow jeans.
“Meltdown has the COOLEST ad out there,” Trump wrote on his social media platform.
“Go get ‘em Meltdown” he added.
Later in his message, which was originally deleted and reposted after incorrectly spelling Meltdown Burger’s name as “Meltdown Buggers” Trump added, “Being BLUE, RED or GREEN is for losers, being YELLOW is what you want to be.”
Some critics of the ad campaign claim it promotes culinary happiness after a shit day at work, a "scientifically proven theory that a great burger can improve your mental health instantly."
A representative for Meltdown Burgers did not immediately respond to Takeaway News' request for comment Monday.
All stocks of Meltdown’s yellow bucket hat sold out worldwide within minute of hitting the shelves.
